Bhawna Pandey
Professor (Dr.) Bhawna Pandey is a distinguished economist and dynamic academic leader serving as Principal of Dyal Singh College (Evening), University of Delhi. A Gold Medalist and University Topper in M.A. Economics from Kurukshetra University, she holds a Ph.D. in Economics with specialization in Indo-US trade patterns under the WTO regime. With over 23 years of dedicated teaching and research experience, she has authored numerous publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals spanning international trade, FDI, medical tourism, and economic development. She has served as Principal Investigator for various ICSSRfunded research projects, among the most recent being a study on tribal women and millet-based entrepreneurship in Odisha. She also forged a landmark international MOU with Nam Can Tho University, Vietnam — the only Delhi University college to establish such a partnership. Prof. Pandey has presented at prestigious global
forums and is widely recognized for her innovative contributions to higher education and policy research. Her work embodies a steadfast commitment to academic excellence, women’s empowerment, and inclusive socioeconomic progress.
