Dr. Amit Saran
Dr. Amit Saran is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hotel Management and Catering Technology of Birla Institute of Technology (NAAC ‘A’ accredited Deemed to be University) Mesra, one of the finest state-of-the-art technical institutes in India.
He holds a Ph.D. from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, a Bachelor of Law, B.Sc. in Hospitality and Tourism management, Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Diploma in Software Technology and the also has a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication degree. His experience includes 30 years of both, teaching and industry, which includes his stints with various star hotels.
Additionally, Dr. Amit Saran has been a research consultant for several educational institutes and projects related to Food Service Management.
He has contributed his thoughts and written articles in journals of national and international repute. He developed several training modules on various areas of food service management. He was also engaged as an expert in framing the course curricula for Hospitality and Tourism Management for various government constituent colleges.
