Dr. Sanjay Srivastava
Professor (Dr) Sanjay Srivastava was born in Varanasi on 07th September 1968, the land where Tulsidas wrote his epic poem on Lord Rama’s life. Greatly influenced by the Ram Charita Manas during his youth and a novice to the Gita, Dr Sanjay Srivastava had never thought in his wildest dreams that he would one day be writing a book about the Bhagavad Gita. Such are the mystic ways of the Lord that it was only in 2012 when he had a tryst with Gita and the new learning came as a source of light, the erstwhile dearth of which is realized only once it is switched on.
Drawing out organizationally relevant teaching from the Gita came naturally to him and making linkages to Leadership traits was instinctive because of his academically and professionally illustrious career in the field of Organizational Behaviour. He considers himself a lifetime student of Human Behaviour and is a Ph.D in in Organizational Culture from University of Delhi, an expert in Psychometric Profiling and a trained practitioner of Transactional Analysis and NLP. Currently, Professor Dr Sanjay Srivastava is serving as the Managing Director, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions and as the Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University (http://manavrachna.edu.in/). He is one of the few who have been accorded with the International Honorary Research Fellowship for five years upto 2021 at Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki, Finland, a rare honour, bestowed upon him by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Finland Mr. Juha Sipila on February 14, 2016. He gives supreme importance to inner voice for greater mission in life and has authored 6 books in the area of Organizational Management, has guided more than 350 dissertations at Post Graduate level with most of his publications in the area of Organization Culture & Indian Mindset.
