Dr. Shishir Dutta
Dr. Shishir Dutta did his M.Tech (Design & Production Engg.) after completing his graduation in Mechanical Engineering. It was followed by M.B.A and Ph.D in Business Management. He has about three decades of experience combined in mining and automobile industry. He is a certified Project Management professional and a qualified lead auditor in Quality Management.
He has vast professional experience in the field of Project Management, Contract Management, e-Procurement, e-Sourcing, e-Auction, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), GPS based Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), GPS based Mine Management System, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Inventory & Spares Parts Management, Maintenance of HEMM and Mine Operation in large open cast mining projects in India. He has also experience in the R&D work in a leading car manufacturing company. His contribution in the industry with Change Management and Business Process re-engineering is noteworthy.
He is a member of several professional bodies. An admirable number of research papers in the national and international journals/ conferences/seminars are in his credit. He is presently working as a Senior faculty (Corporate Training) at Indian Institute of Coal Management. He is also associated with several business schools, engineering colleges and universities for delivering guest lectures and case-studies.
