Pinki Sharma
Dr. Pinki Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Delhi, with over fifteen years of rich academic experience in various prestigious institutions including Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak and BrahMos Aerospace. She has established herself as a dedicated teacher, active researcher and effective speaker. Her scholarly contributions have appeared in reputed national and international journals in the form of several research papers, reflecting her deep commitment to the diverse fields of library and information science and contemporary developments. She also plays an active role in editorial and academic initiatives that encourage scholarly communication and professional advancements. Under the able
guidance of Professor Shashi Prabha Singh, she has completed her M. Phil and Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Delhi in 2009 and 2014 respectively. Her academic interests include Digital Librarianship, Skill Development, ICT Applications in Libraries and Community Information Services. Dr. Sharma is an active member of various Library Associations such as IATLIS, ASIALA, IASLIC and DLA.
