Arunangshu Giri

He has over 16 years of experience in Industry, research and teaching, He is presently serving as Head and Associate Professor in the School of Management and Social Science, Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal. He acted as visiting professor at Vidyasagar University, Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University and study counsellor at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). He teaches courses on Marketing, Marketing Research, Research Methodology and Statistics. He has acted as resource person in Faculty Development Program and workshop, conducted by many colleges and universities like Jadavpur University, Vidyasagar University, EIILM (Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management) etc. He has 69 research publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters including Scopus and ABDC indexed with Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, etc. He has authored 8 books with Sage Publication, PHI Publication, New Age International, Himalaya Publication, etc. He acted as the principal investigator in many research projects and consultency programs with many organizations such as IOCL (Marketing Division), IOCL (Refinery), etc. Now, he is guiding many PhD research scholars under MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology). Also, he received Gold Medal & Best Business Academic of the Year Award -2016 at the 69th All India Commerce Conference, organized by Lucknow University, Lucknow.
