Dr. Arup Roy
Dr. Arup Roy is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University, Assam, India. He has more than 18 years of teaching and research experience at the post graduate level and completed his PhD in Management from Tezpur University in 2012. The author has completed his MBA specializing in Finance in 2001 after finishing his B.Sc in Statistics from Gauhati University. He has also received ICICI Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2009-2010. For the last 18 years, he has been conducting research and training programmes in the field of Microfinance, Stock Market, Financial Engineering, Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Inclusive Growth and Performance Management. His recent area of research interest lies in the field of Green Finance, Financial Literacy, Agriculture Finance, Capital Market, Rural Development and Development Finance. He has also completed FDP in Finance from IIM, Kozhikode in 2006.
He worked in the industry as an Assistant Manager for a year in Kolkata before joining Tezpur University as a Lecturer in Finance. He has also worked as a Visiting Faculty in Indian Statistical Institute and Rajiv Gandhi Central University and Indian Statistical Institute. The author has also attended many Workshops, Faculty Development Programmes, training programme and International Conferences in India. He has also attended and organised many national seminars and conferences in India. He has published many research papers in reputed national and international journals. He has written a research book in Microfinance published from Germany. He has 50 research publications in reputed national and international research journals published from India and abroad. He has also been invited as a Resource Person in many District, State, National and International level Seminars and Conferences in India. He is Editor of Journal of Advanced Management Research and Universal Journal of Accounting and Finance published from India and USA respectively.
