Dr. Vijay Gondaliya
Dr. Vijay Gondaliya is the Director of B.V. Patel Institute of Management, Uka Tarsadia University. He completed his post-graduation from Shrimad Rajchandra Institute of Management, Uka Tarsadia University and also holds PGDRM (Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology). His area of interest is Corporate Finance, Security Market, Research and International Finance along with a strong command in the field of research. He has got long teaching and research experience with 12 years of academic exposure. He is Ph.D in management and 7 students are pursuing their Ph.D under his supervision. He has delivered many lectures as resource person in various events and conducted more than 10 expert sessions on various topics such as research methodology, writing a literature review, the winning strategy documentation and so on. He is engaged in extension activities and also in various developmental activities for the betterment of the university. Dr. Gondaliya is extremely inquisitive and holds a remarkable presence in the life of students at B.V. Patel Institute of Management as he strives for ensuring continuous quality learning by the student and to provide best possible exposure to the students. A source of inspiration for the students, he is engaged in academic and personal counselling of students and also conducts individual sessions with each student to discuss the progress, difficulties faced by them and their expectations. He has guided more than 500 final year undergraduates and post-graduate students. He has published 25 research papers in national and international journals as well as book chapters; these are mainly in the area of Finance including Foreign Direct Investment, Foreign Institutional Investment. general aspects like behaviour, habit, resistance to change and others including telecom sector, textile industry and many more.
