Jaynal U. Ahmed
Prof. Jaynal Ud-din Ahmed completed his M.Com (Accounting & Finance) with a first class and obtained Ph.D degree from Assam (Central) University, Silchar. He is currently working as Head of Department of Management at North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Meghalaya, and has published around four dozen research papers in international and refereed journals. Prof. Ahmed has also edited several books. As a part of his academic activities, he has organized a number of seminars, symposiums, workshops, refresher courses, MDP and EDP. He is actively involved in supervision of doctoral level theses and guided nine Ph.D scholars. Prof. Ahmed is the Chairman of North-Eastern Management Association. He is the recipient of Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2011), Best Thesis Award (2004), Best Young Faculty (2005) and Bharat Jyoti Puraskar (2017) in recognition of his teaching and research work. He is actively engaged in teaching and research for over seventeen years.
