Ms Manjula Srinivas
Ms. Manjula Srinivas is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mass Media at Kishinchand Chellaram College, Mumbai. She has two decades of extensive experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. She holds an M.Phil Degree in English Literature from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Baroda and is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Media Economics from University of Mumbai.
Meticulous and a seasoned academician are the words that truly describe Ms. Srinivas-The editor of this book Media Integrity. She is a visionary whose unstinted efforts have not only added value to media courses but have taken the department to new heights. The department has recently been ranked among Top 15 media departments in the country by India Today magazine and Top 10 by The Week magazine. Ms. Srinivas has been actively involved with the development of the media programme of the University of Mumbai. She was the Chairperson for the Board of Studies for Bachelor of Mass Media from 2006-2009.
Ms. Srinivas has garnered many accolades, which include Best Professor Award in Media & Advertising category at the Academic Excellence Awards 2019 organized by the Academy of Management Professionals (AMP). She has also been recognised among 100 Most Dedicated Professors at the World Education Congress 2019. On an international platform, Ms. Srinivas had the honour of presenting India as the Keynote Speaker at GeM 2018 Conference organized by the CCD Research Group of Jonkoping University Sweden.
