Ram Kumar Mishra
Dr. Ram Kumar Mishra, President, Management and Social Science Research Centre, and Extraordinary Professor, Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and Former Director, Institute of Public Enterprise, ONGC Subir Raha Chair Professor on Corporate Governance, Hyderabad, India. His academic stints were with London Business School, Maison Des Sciences De L’Hommes, University of Bradford, and UN International Centre for Promotional Enterprises. He has taught at the University of Bradford, the United Kingdom, and has been a Visiting Professor at Maison Des Sciences De L’ Hommes, Paris. His research interests: SOES, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Disaster Management and Climate Change, and Sustainable Development.
His extensive advisory work with the Government of India, state governments, and international bodies such as the UN, OECD, Commonwealth Secretariat, and Asian Development Bank has directly influenced policy and institutional reform. He has served on high-level committees, including the Planning Commission’s Panel of Experts on Public Sector Reform, the Cabinet Secretariat’s Ad hoc Task Force on Results Framework Documents, and the International Institute of Administrative Sciences’ working groups.
internationally, Prof. Mishra has represented India in global governance forums, served as Vice President of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), and contributed to the Network of Asia-Pacific Schools and Institutes of Public Administration and Governance.
