Dr. Amitava Bhattacharyya
Dr. Amitava Bhattacharyya, Associate Professor at Department of ECE, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India, completed his Ph.D from Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi, India. He is a winner of 3rd National Award for Technology Innovation (2012-13) awarded by Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India under the category of Research in the field of Polymer Science and Technology. He has over 50 research articles published in peer reviewed journals with 560 citations, 1 book, 3 book chapters and 1 monograph, besides filling 2 patents. He has completed many funded R&D projects from DST, TNSCST and Huntsman International project. His expertise is on application of polymer nanocomposites for textile, biomedical and water purification applications.
