Dr. S. P. Suriyaraj
Dr. S. P. Suriyaraj holds a Master of Science in Nanoscience and Technology and Ph.D in Nanobiotechnology from PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Coimbatore. He was a Post Doctoral Fellow at Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His research interests include green synthesis of nanomaterials, bioremediation, water treatment and drug delivery applications. With about eight years of research experience, he has produced more than 15 scientific publications including original research papers, review articles and book chapters. He presented more than 10 papers/posters on Nanobiotechnology in various national and international conferences. He was awarded Junior Research Fellowship funded by Life Science Research Board-Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Government of India (2013). He received Eureka Forbes award in National seminar on Water Resources Management and Sustainable Management in 2015. He is a life member in International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), Sweden, International Society for Environmental Information Sciences (ISEIS), Canada and International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID), USA. Currently, He is a scientific officer in Nanotechnology in PSG-Science and Technology Entrepreneurial Park (PSG-STEP), PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
